In order to connect to the Super Consciousness within you must FIRST achieve Samadhi. Samadhi is not simply a state of mind, it is COSMIC consciousness the state where the soul perceives itself, centered , everywhere and nowhere. In this state no ripple on the sea of consciousness remains. Thoughts , feelings are completely still …..the emptiness ….the state of NIRVANA. …the VOID . 
In this state…..The soul is in the emptiness , knowing it’s existence , stripped away of any realization. Before the I AM …..this is where you will find the connection to the SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS.
